Why does my alarm panel keep beeping?

Answer: If you have a power cut then it may be a low power beep.

Answer: If the power is off then the panel battery is dead and the panel is itself now dead.

Answer: They are normally set for 15 minutes.

Answer: Normally yes, however it will probably need reprogramming first.

Can I have a wireless alarm installed in my house?

Answer: Normally yes, but this is subject to a survey. Some properties are not suitable i.e. if they have very thick walls, or lots of steel in the structure.

Answer: We see regularly serviced systems that have been working for 15-20 years with no trouble. The only problem is obtaining spare parts when they go wrong.

Answer: 10 years is a good guide.

Answer: Usually 8-10 hours.

Do the Police come out when my alarm goes off?

Answer: Only if you have an agreement and have been connected to a Central Station and they call them.
